Nurse Practitioner
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care for patients.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current PMHNP-BC certification and licensure in the state of Indiana.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience in psychiatric care preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations will be considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to compassionate care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule & Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for patient needs
- No overnight call requirements
- Inpatient weekend coverage is available for additional compensation opportunity
