What You Will Do

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient Care: Deliver acute care for cardiac patients in a hospital setting.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Partner with CV Surgeons and APPs to coordinate patient management.
  • Experience: Requires 3+ years of Cardiac or Cardiovascular expertise.
  • Assessment & Diagnostics: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret diagnostic studies.
  • Treatment & Management: Manage health conditions via prescriptive authority or specialist referral.
  • Patient Education: Counsel families on treatment plans and preventative health.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise medical records per network and specialty standards.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Master's degree of Nursing require
