Pediatric Associates is seeking a Per Diem-time Outpatient Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our practice in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Position Overview:

  • Provide per diem coverage between St. Lucie North and St. Lucie West, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the Palm Beach area
  • Flexible scheduling available, including:
    • Morning shifts: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
    • Afternoon shifts: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
    • Full-day shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
  • Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system
  • Comprehensive training provided, including three consecutive days (Monday-Wednesday) followed by additional in-office training
  • Bonus opportunities available
  • Experience in pediatrics as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Experience:

  • 2 years of general pediatric experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is required

Education, Licensure & Certification:

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
  • Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified
  • Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
