Position Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)Location: Chinle Comprehensive Health Care FacilityPosition Type :Full-Time Contract (2080 hours per year)Job Tasks:
- Examine patients and ask about their symptoms.
- Diagnose common illnesses and health problems.
- Prescribe medications when needed.
- Order and review lab tests and medical exams.
- Treat minor injuries and illnesses.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
- Provide vaccinations and routine health screenings.
Required Qualifications:Education:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Certification:
Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).Licensure:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active Nurse Practitioner license
Other Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA license if prescribing controlled medications
