Capital Region Women's Care is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team and help us provide exceptional, patient-centered gynecologic care.

Community Care Physicians is a physician-led, patient-focused organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative care across the Capital Region for over 35 years. As part of our commitment to women's health, we are seeking a NP/PA to join our collaborative team at Capital Region Women's Care.

What You'll Do:

  • See patients for routine gynecological care and annual wellness visits.
  • Provide problem-focused care for both acute and chronic women's health concerns.
  • Perform, or be trained to perform, IUD and Nexplanon insertions.
  • Participate in a wide range of in-office procedures (biopsies, colposcopies, LEEPs, ablations, D&C).
  • Support our physicians by focusing on pre- and post-operative patient visits.
  • Review and discuss test results (labs, cultures, imaging, pathology) with patients.
  • Minimal call coverage - always with an MD available for backup.

Compensation: Starting at $125,000 annually.

CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

  • Physician Assistant:
    • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in physician assistant studies and successful completion of physician assistant training program approved by the NYS Department of Education or accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or a program that is determined by the Department to be the substantial equivalent of a licensure qualifying or accredited program.
    • Attainment of passing grade on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
    • Current certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
    • At least one year of experience as a physician assistant in ambulatory health care.
    • Interest and/or experience in women's health.
    • Current CPR certification.
  • Nurse Practitioner:
    • Successful completion of and graduation from a nurse practitioner education program acceptable to NYSED.
    • Current certification as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
    • Successful completion of pharmacology coursework acceptable to NYSED.
    • Three years of professional nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
    • At least one year of experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory health care.
    • Interest and/or experience in women's health.
    • Current CPR certification.
