Job Summary:
Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients.
Qualified Candidates:
- Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Texas licensed or ability to obtain one
- Have experience in CVICU and knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intraortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO)
- Can work a flexible full-time schedule
- Reponsibilities include managing patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement including TAVRs, complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement and heart transplantation in addition to our mechanical circulator support patients.
- Will also cover patient consults and discharges after surgery
