We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Physician Assistant to join a newly established employer-sponsored urgent care clinic serving employees of a major Metro Detroit organization.
This is a unique opportunity to help launch a brand-new clinic while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern outpatient setting. Your Practice
You´ll provide comprehensive urgent and episodic care for employees in a collaborative outpatient setting. Responsibilities include:
* Evaluation and treatment of acute illness and injury
* Common office procedures including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, IV therapy, wound care, and EKG interpretation
* Point-of-care diagnostics, medication management, and onsite medication dispensing
* Occupational health services including drug screening, return-to-work evaluations, and workplace injury management Referral coordination, patient navigation, and virtual care follow-up
You´ll practice at the top of your license while working within established evidence-based protocols, with physician consultation readily available when needed.
Qualifications
Required
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current national certification
* Active Michigan NP or PA license (or ability to obtain before start date)
* Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain, as applicable)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Occupational Health, or another acute care setting
* Procedural competency including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, IV therapy, and EKG acquisition/interpretation
* BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Ideal candidates are clinically confident, service-oriented providers who enjoy practicing independently while collaborating within a supportive team environment.
Experience in employer-sponsored healthcare or occupational medicine is welcomed but not required.
