Position Summary

Frederick Primary Care Associates is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Endocrinology to join our well-established and respected practice. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical excellence, a commitment to ongoing professional development, and a patient-centered approach to care.

This role requires an active Maryland NP license, board certification, Maryland CDS registration, and a current DEA certificate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess and manage patients, in collaboration with supervising physician
  • Assist with acute and chronic endocrine care management
  • Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
  • Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate
  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging results
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
  • Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care
  • Support practice-wide clinical goals and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and board certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Sound clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to delivering care that meets the highest clinical standards
