Position Details
Location: Montgomery County Jail - TN
Schedule: Approximately 2 - 8-hour shifts per week Flexible
Position: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat patients during scheduled on-site visits
- Provide clinical direction and support to the nursing team
- Review medical records, treatment plans, orders, and documentation
- Prescribe medications and coordinate outside care when needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
- Practice according to established clinical protocols and standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards of care
What You'll Bring
- Current NP or PA license in Tennessee
- Nurse Practitioners must maintain a collaborating physician relationship when required by Tennessee regulations
- Primary care, urgent care, or correctional healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain facility security clearance
