In this role, you will provide essential outpatient behavioral health care in a rural setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by expanding access to behavioral health services in an underserved area.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages.
- Developing and managing individualized treatment plans, to include medication management and brief therapy interventions.
- Providing culturally sensitive care that addresses social determinants of health common in rural populations.
- Coordinating care with other local primary care and specialist providers, telehealth specialists, and community organizations.
- Utilization of telepsychiatry and mobile health technologies to reach patients with transportation or accessibility challenges.
- Participating in community outreach and education to promote a healthy population.

Requirements
Qualifications
- ARNP with an unrestricted Washington State License
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Minimum of one year of independent psychiatric clinical practice
- Current BLS certification
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles, substance use disorders and crisis stabilization
