Provive Wellness is a Scranton, PA outpatient practice dedicated to treating substance use disorder (SUD) and mental health conditions with compassionate, evidence-based care. We're building a team of providers who want to make a real difference in the Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) community.

The Role
We're looking for a licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Scranton clinic on a part-time, flexible basis. You'll provide direct psychiatric care to patients navigating substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions, working alongside a supportive, collaborative clinical team.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients, including diagnostic assessment and treatment planning
  • Manage a caseload of follow-up visits, monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as needed
  • Provide ongoing medication management for psychiatric and co-occurring conditions
  • Prescribe and manage Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including buprenorphine, for patients with opioid use disorder
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to deliver integrated, whole-person care
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
  • Support other clinical duties as needed to serve patients and the care team

What We're Looking For

  • Active, unrestricted PMHNP-BC (ANCC) or PA-C (NCCPA) certification, with current PA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Current DEA registration with Schedule II-V authority
  • Experience in psychiatry, addiction medicine, or SUD treatment preferred; strong new grads welcome
  • Genuine interest in behavioral health and helping patients through recovery
  • Strong communication skills, comfort in a collaborative team setting
