Position Summary
Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a full-time or part-time Physician Assistant to join our primary care team in Susanville, California.
The PA will provide outpatient primary care to patients across the lifespan, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment of common illnesses and injuries. Providers typically see approximately 18 patients per day.
Full-time providers may choose four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days. Part-time schedules may also be considered. There are no weekend clinic hours or on-call responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time salary of $128,000-$168,000
- $50,000 sign-on bonus, depending on eligibility
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000
- 40 hours of paid CME time annually
- $2,000 annual CME allowance

NRHC is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Lassen County and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years. We are the largest provider of outpatient healthcare services in Lassen County, with clinics in Susanville and Westwood.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Current California Physician Assistant license, or the ability to obtain one
- Current DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to meet NRHC credentialing and privileging requirements
- Ability to provide primary care to patients across the lifespan
- Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
