• Patient Care: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments for orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Surgical Assistance: Assist in surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative care in the operating room.
• Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Procedures: Perform joint injections, aspirations, fracture reductions, casting, splinting, and other procedures within the scope of practice.
• Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, post-operative instructions, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Coordination of Care: Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and radiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in shared call rotations, responding to urgent and emergent orthopedic cases.
