Job Description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients seeking urgent medical care, as well as occupational health services. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Must be willing and able to float between our eight urgent care centers as needed to support staffing and ensure consistent, high-quality care across all locations. Our urgent care centers operate seven days a week. The Physician assistant will work three 12-hour shifts per week, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. "The compensation range indicated is for the standard full-time position. Compensation for this position will be determined in part based on the associated part-time schedule for the position."

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in urgent care or ER preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently

Certification/ Licensure:

  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active and unrestricted PA license in NJ
  • DEA & NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
  • BLS certification
  • Obtain National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification within 6 months of accepting the job
