You'll have the flexibility of a per-diem schedule while playing a hands-on role in shaping how Haven Health delivers care virtually.
What You'll Do
Clinical Care
- Provide comprehensive care-including acute, chronic, and preventive visits-for patients across the lifespan.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, STIs, mental health, gender-affirming care).
- Perform in-office procedures when appropriate.
- Order and interpret labs, diagnostics, and imaging; manage prescriptions; and complete documentation in accordance with Haven Health clinical protocols.
- Provide same-day and weekend coverage for urgent patient needs when the core clinical team is unavailable.
Vacation & Leave Coverage
- Step in as needed to cover for full-time providers during vacation, sick leave, and other planned or unplanned absences.
- Maintain continuity of care by reviewing patient charts and handoff notes ahead of each covered shift.
- Manage clinical inboxes, follow-ups, and messages across channels during coverage periods.
Product Launch & Virtual Care Experience
- Serve as a founding clinical team member voice in the launch of Haven Health's new products, helping test and refine the end-to-end telehealth patient experience.
- Provide clinical feedback on virtual intake, triage, and visit workflows as new features roll out.
- Help identify where virtual care protocols need adjustment for quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
- Support pilot programs and new service lines as Haven Health scales.
Collaboration & Culture
- Work in close partnership with physicians and medical assistants to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and affirming team culture.
- Provide input into clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
