Opportunity Overview

Centra Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Pain Medicine and Brain & Spine service line in Lynchburg, Virginia.

This outpatient opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care across:

• Pain Medicine
• Centra Spine Clinic
• Neurology
• Neurosurgery
• Neuroendovascular surgery
• Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Services

Our integrated care model supports patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

The practice is in a new state-of-the-art medical office building designed to support advanced specialty care, featuring modern clinical spaces and a dedicated procedure room to enhance patient care delivery and provide an efficient environment for in-office interventions.

Responsibilities

Position Highlights

• Full-time outpatient position
• No weekends, nights, holidays, or call
• $15,000 sign-on bonus
• Dedicated clinic location in a modern medical facility
• Dedicated procedure space for office-based interventions
• Strong physician and APP collaboration

Responsibilities Include:

• Patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Treatment planning and care management
• Ordering and reviewing labs and imaging
• Pre-procedure assessments
• Minor office procedures, including trigger point and joint injections

Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, and Master's of Science Degree in Nursing (MSN)

Required Experience: Minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in area of specialization

Required Certifications and Licensures: Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications. Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. Nationally recognized certification in field of specialization
