Overview:
St. Mary's Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing Otolaryngology (ENT) practice in Amsterdam, NY. Working alongside an experienced ENT physician, you'll provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP with prior ENT office experience to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment while caring for a diverse patient population.

Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed position
- Work alongside an experienced Otolaryngologist in a well-established practice
- Diverse outpatient practice treating pediatric and adult patients

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck.
- Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care.
- Perform office-based procedures within the scope of practice and organizational guidelines.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, post-procedural care, and disease prevention.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising ENT physician and multidisciplinary care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain current knowledge of evidence-based ENT practices.
Qualifications:
Required Credentials - Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Education - Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Skills - Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, procedural, and patient-centered communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range - $135K - $140K (commensurate with experience)

Complexity of Work

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, procedural proficiency, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered specialty care.
