Schedule: Full-time | 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday

What You Will Do

This is an exceptional full-time opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Team, providing services at the Manhattan Occupational Health Clinic with periodic coverage at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF).

• Specialty: Occupational Health
• Call structure: No Call
• Practice setting: Occupational Health Clinic
• EMR System: Systoc
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Provide high-quality occupational health services to the Manhattan-area companies and fulfill a part-time role serving NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance, and animal handlers
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related illnesses and injuries
• Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Physician Assistant credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 1 year of experience preferred.
