Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Veteran Disability Evaluations

Warren, NJ 4-5 Days/Week No Treatment No Prescribing No On-Call

Ready to step off the patient-panel treadmill? The IMA Group is looking for a Nurse Practitioner in Warren, NJ to conduct one-time disability evaluations for U.S. veterans - clinical work with real purpose, minus the grind of ongoing care. Full-time pay runs $115,000-$125,000 annually, prorated to your schedule.

There's no prescribing, no treatment planning, and no follow-ups here. You'll assess, document, and move on to the next veteran - each evaluation a self-contained piece of clinical judgment that directly shapes someone's benefits outcome.

The Work

  • Perform in-depth medical evaluations of veterans applying for VA disability benefits
  • Dig into medical records, test results, and supporting documentation
  • Draft thorough evaluation reports through our electronic platform

What Makes This Different

  • 4-5 days a week, strictly daytime hours, Monday through Friday
  • Never on-call - your evenings and weekends stay yours
  • Pay scales with your schedule, up to $125,000 full-time
  • One-and-done evaluations instead of an endless patient panel
  • Work that genuinely honors veterans' service
  • Strong onboarding and clinical support baked in from the start

What We're Looking For

  • Active NP license
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program
  • Hands-on clinical NP experience
  • A background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, or Orthopedics is a plus, not a must

Benefits Package

  • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment assistance
  • Paid parental leave

You'll Thrive Here If You're

  • Craving clinical work without the weight of a full patient panel
  • Re-entering the workforce and want structure without the burnout
  • Looking for steady, well-paid work that still leaves room for a life

Bring your clinical expertise to work that matters. Apply today.
