Nurse Practitioner - Urology
Lead a Brand-New Urology Service Line in Watseka, IL - No Urology Experience Required
Real-time mentorship from a board-certified urologist. Be the face of urology at Iroquois Memorial Hospital. Iroquois Memorial Hospital is partnering with VirtuCare to build a comprehensive urology service line, and we are looking for the Advanced Practice Provider who will lead it on the ground. This is a rare chance to step into a service line on day one, learn urology from a board-certified urologist paired with you from the start, and grow with the practice as it scales.
What makes this different from every other APP role
- No prior urology experience is necessary. If you have it, great. If you don't, we will train you. We built a comprehensive training program for the outpatient urology clinic - videos, lectures, and onsite training. Just leave your ego at the door and bring curiosity.
- Real-time physician support. You are paired with a remote board-certified urologist available before, during, and after clinic. This is not the typical "see the patient and call if you have questions" relationship - your urologist teaches and guides you in real time.
- You are the face of the service line. Surgeons travel on-site for procedures; you own the outpatient experience. Patients build a relationship with you.
- Career growth. As the service line scales, this role grows with it - into senior APP, team lead, and broader clinical leadership opportunities.
