Nurse Practitioner - Veteran Disability Evaluations

Panama City, FL Part-Time 2 Days per Week 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive medical evaluations for Veterans seeking disability compensation related to service-connected medical conditions. This role is ideal for NPs who enjoy clinical assessment and documentation without the demands of ongoing treatment, patient panels, or on-call responsibilities.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive medical histories and focused physical examinations
  • Review medical records, diagnostic studies, and ancillary testing
  • Document clinical findings using VA-required evaluation criteria
  • Prepare clear, thorough medical reports addressing the relationship between a Veteran's condition and military service
  • Complete and submit VA-approved questionnaires using our streamlined digital documentation platform

What We're Looking For

  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
  • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics, or a related specialty is preferred
