Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Oncology, Solid Tumor

Providence Swedish Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its growing Solid Tumor Oncology team in Seattle, Washington. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside nationally recognized oncology specialists caring for patients with gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) malignancies across both the clinic and hospital settings.

The APC will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive cancer care while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team that includes medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology surgeons, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, and research staff. Responsibilities include evaluation and management of oncology patients, treatment monitoring, symptom management, survivorship care, inpatient consultations, and participation in innovative cancer therapies and clinical research. The successful candidate will also share responsibility for the Transition Rapid Access Clinic, helping ensure timely patient access and seamless transitions of care. The practice cares for patients receiving a broad range of treatments including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, cellular therapies, and investigational therapies through clinical trials in a highly collaborative academic-style environment.

Position Details:

  • Full-time position with Providence Swedish Cancer Institute
  • Focus on patients with gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) malignancies
  • Care for patients receiving chemotherapy, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, cellular therapies, and clinical trial treatments
  • Practice across both ambulatory and hospital settings
  • Shared responsibility for the Transition Rapid Access Clinic
  • Participate in clinical research, clinical trials, and innovative treatment programs
  • No call responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation is between $139,910 and $177,393 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Washington State licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Oncology experience preferred, though candidates with strong related clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care
