Nurse Practitioner
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Salary: $130,000 to $149,000 annually

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a community focused healthcare team providing high quality primary care to a diverse patient population.

This role is ideal for an NP who values compassionate, inclusive care and is comfortable working with patients from a wide range of backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community. You will provide comprehensive patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients
• Provide patient education and preventive care
• Discuss sexual health concerns in a professional, nonjudgmental, and sex positive manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Deliver culturally competent and patient centered care
• Support the organization's commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities
Required Qualifications
• RN and Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner degree
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of California
• Federal DEA registration
• Active furnishing license
• Primary care experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team
• Knowledge of or experience working with the LGBTQ+ community
• Understanding of healthcare issues relevant to LGBTQ+ patients
• Demonstrated ability to provide respectful care to patients across diverse cultural, socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, religious, gender, and identity backgrounds
• Ability to pass an FBI background check
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or a related field
• Experience in a community health or primary care clinic
• Experience serving underserved populations
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
• Experience working with electronic health record systems
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Additional certifications or experience in mental health or related specialties
