Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our established Allergy & Immunology practice in Hanford, California.
The PA/NP will provide direct patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting, working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the healthcare team. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate provider who is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
Business Hours
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage new and established patients with allergy, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Provide follow-up care and ongoing management of patients.
- Evaluate patients receiving allergy immunotherapy and other allergy-related treatments.
- Order and review appropriate diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
- Prescribe medications within the provider's scope of practice.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and ongoing management of their conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical staff to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality patient care.
- Consult with the physician regarding complex cases or when physician involvement is appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Follow established clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and standards of care.
- Participate in the continued development and improvement of allergy and immunology services within the practice.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current or eligible California PA or NP license.
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain.
- Allergy, asthma, immunology, primary care, or related clinical experience preferred; however, training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient care.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the supervising physician and clinical team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
