Job Description
Build Your Nephrology Career in Northwest Houston!

A growing, physician led kidney care practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative team in Northwest Houston.

This is an opportunity to work closely with nephrologists while caring for patients with acute and chronic kidney disease. You will work across office and inpatient settings, with a small portion of your practice focused on dialysis patients. The team offers strong clinical support and specialized nephrology training.

We strongly prefer candidates with Nurse Practitioner experience who live within approximately 20 to 30 minutes of Northwest Houston. Bilingual Spanish and English candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You Will Do

You will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with kidney disease and related conditions while collaborating closely with nephrologists and interdisciplinary care teams. You will develop treatment plans, coordinate care across settings, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Schedule

Monday through Friday daytime schedule with no routine weekend coverage.

What We Are Looking For

Our preferred candidates include:

  • AGACNP, Acute Care licensed and prior Nurse Practitioner experience
  • FNP, Adult Gerontology licensed and prior Nurse Practitioner experience
  • AGACNP, Acute Care licensed who is early in their Nurse Practitioner career
  • FNP with Adult Gerontology certification who is early in their Nurse Practitioner career

Requirements

  • Nephrology or dialysis experience is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must have an active Texas Nurse Practitioner license or be eligible to obtain one.
