Surgical Navigation NP/PA in Bangor, Maine
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking an additional Surgical Navigation Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join their Surgical Navigation team in Bangor, Maine. Enjoy a rewarding career assisting and guiding patients throughout their preoperative experience.
Position highlights:
- Work closely with the surgeons, anesthesia team, nursing staff and other care team members to provide a positive experience for the patient
- Perform thorough chart review on select moderate and high-risk surgeries and order preoperative testing when indicated
- Perform preoperative consults requested by surgeons, refer patients for cardiac consults if indicated, and coordinate patient care with preop, anesthesia, and surgical practices
- Participate in ongoing departmental and perioperative process improvement, communicate departmental updates with surgical practices and support staff education
- No call and no weekends required
Compensation information:
- $123,500 - $129,500 annual base salary
- The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
