About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings on a full-time day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with staggered hours in which one clinician remains on-site until 6:00 PM; no weekend or holiday coverage is required. Inpatient consult coverage is maintained with 24/7 on-call physician backup, and clinicians are expected to participate in weekly and monthly tumor conferences, including Breast, Thoracic, GU, and GYN Tumor Boards. The facility operates a 1:1 NP-to-MD oversight model, with APP oversight as a component of this assignment. Clinical documentation is maintained through the Varian documentation system with Dragon dictation and electronic order entry; on-site resources include PET CT imaging and a hematology laboratory.
