Position Overview
This is an autonomous APP position where the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be the only provider on-site.
The provider will have remote support from:
- Supervising Physician
- Lead APP / Medical Director
- Support available by phone as needed
Each APP is supported by a Medical Assistant who assists with patient visits, charting, and documentation.
Patient Volume
- Average: 15 to 20 patients per day
- Patient population: All ages
- Primarily low-acuity, routine medical care
- Dedicated patient panel
Primary Responsibilities
The APP will provide routine primary and urgent care services, including:
- Routine primary care
- Annual physical examinations
- Sick visits
- Minor injury care
- Sports physicals
- Employment physicals
- Vaccinations
- Other routine, low-acuity medical services
Required Qualifications
- Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Must be able to see patients of all ages
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Minimum 2 years of Family Medicine experience
- 3+ years of Primary Care or Urgent Care experience preferred
- 3+ years of medical practice experience
