Position Highlights
- Full-time Emergency Department APP opportunity
- Practice in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 75,000 patient visits annually
- Collaborative, physician-led emergency medicine team

Responsibilities
The Advanced Practice Provider will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergent and urgent medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialing.
- Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately within Epic.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education as appropriate.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
- Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board certification as an Acute Care or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (or certification appropriate for Emergency Medicine practice)
- Current Maryland licensure or eligibility
Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certification
- Current Maryland licensure or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- ATLS and PALS are desirable
