Location: AHN Beaver Heritage Valley, 1000 Dutch Ridge Road, Beaver PA 15009
Work Hours: FT72, Rotating shifts, discussed during the interview process

Functions in an expanded role as a professional nurse practitioner / physician assistant at AHN Heritage Valley Beaver, performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician licensed to practice medicine.

Requirements

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Three years professional nursing experience in a clinical setting. Possession of a State Registered Nurse License. Possession of Nurse Practitioner State License; National board certified neonatal nurse practitioner (NCC National Certification Corporation). NCC Certification not required for Nurse Practitioners licensed prior to 02/07/2005; Prescriptive Authority within 60 days of hire.

Physician Assistant - Physician Assistant - Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies OR Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Current PA Physician Assistant License; PA-C or board eligible; Ongoing successful recertification (NCCPA) as a PA-C Within 90 days of hire

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor Certification; Drug Enforcement Agency Licensure within 60 days of hire; CPR - American Heart Association; Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred

1 year in Level II neonatal intensive care unit as CRNP or PA.
