About the Clinician's Workday

The Physician Associate will provide 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM), approximately 4 shifts per month, assisting with cardiothoracic and general surgery procedures including CABG, valve replacements, lung procedures, and endoscopic vein harvesting. Responsibilities include daily hospital rounding, patient evaluations, charting, and responding to calls or pages as clinically indicated. Clinicians will see approximately 4-5 patients per day and will work alongside three additional APPs throughout each assigned coverage period.
