About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide full-time cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient, ICU, clinic, and operating room settings, with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call coverage is required from 4:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following morning. Clinical responsibilities include rounding on inpatients, seeing patients in the clinic, functioning as a First Assist in the CVOR alongside the cardiothoracic surgeon, and performing vein harvesting during operative procedures. Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery and prescriptive authority are required for consideration.
