The department is staffed by 6 physicians and 18 anatomical support staff members to facilitate coordinated case processing. On-site locum tenens coverage is sought beginning in January on an ongoing basis, with flexibility for part time or full time scheduling.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide inpatient pathology coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call responsibilities associated with this assignment. Clinical duties include review of cytology, breast, GI, and skin specimens, with a daily case volume of 100-120 total cases in the lab; GYN cases are not included in this assignment. Grossing is required and constitutes approximately 7.5 hours per day; frozen sections are not required. Both part time and full time candidates are considered for this locum tenens engagement.
