ReliableHealthCareServicesisseekinganexperiencedanddedicatedAdvancedPracticeRegisteredNurse(APRN)specializinginEarlyChildhoodDevelopmentandAutismDiagnosticstoprovidehigh-quality,evidence-basedassessmentanddiagnosticservicesforNevadaEarlyInterventionServices(NEIS).

AbouttheRole:
NevadaEarlyInterventionServices(NEIS)isseekinganAdvancedPracticeRegisteredNurse(APRN)withexpertiseinworkingwithchildrenfrombirthtoage3whohavedisabilitiesordevelopmentaldelays.Theidealcandidatewillplayacriticalroleinsupportingearlychildhoodservicesandparticipatinginautismdiagnosticassessments.NEISprovidesservicestofamiliesintheirnaturalenvironments,however,someclinicalassessmentsoccurinofficesorbytelehealth.Travelisrequired,withoccasionalexpensespaidovernightstaysinruralcommunities3-4xperyear.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Conductcomprehensivedevelopmentalassessmentsandprovidediagnosticevaluationsforchildrenwithsuspectedautismandotherdevelopmentaldelays
• Collaboratewithamultidisciplinaryteamtodevelopandimplementindividualizedcareplans
• Provideongoingclinicalsupportandconsultationtofamilies,caregivers,andteammembers
• AssistinthedevelopmentandimplementationofaspecializedFASDprogramtosupportchildrenwithprenatalalcoholexposure
• Offerguidanceonevidence-basedinterventionsandbestpracticesforearlychildhooddevelopmentalcare

Qualifications:

• LicensedAPRNinthestateofNevadawithexperienceinpediatrics,developmentaldelays,orrelatedfields
• Experienceworkingwithchildrenwithautism,developmentaldelays,anddisabilities
• KnowledgeofautismdiagnostictoolsandfamiliaritywithASDassessmentsishighlypreferred
• Strongcommunicationandcollaborationskillstoworkeffectivelywithfamiliesandinterdisciplinaryteams
