Nurse Practitioner
  • Conduct patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering laboratory and radiology tests, and referring patients to specialists as appropriate.
  • Provide preventive care, patient education, counseling, and lifestyle guidance to support overall health and wellness.
  • Discuss potential side effects of medications/treatments with patients and ensure allergy information is current.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in compliance with departmental policies and federal/state privacy regulations.
  • Adhere to departmental procedures, quality improvement initiatives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintain current licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
