Charleston Oncology, a leader in cutting-edge cancer care across the Lowcountry, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing hematology/oncology team. Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient and outpatient hematology/oncology care.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cancer and blood disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Manage EMR workload and patient in-baskets within EPIC.
- Deliver compassionate care with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Willingness to work collaboratively with all members of the care team, including MAs, nurses, and other APPs.
- Comfort caring for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
- Proficiency in EMR workload management and patient in-baskets.
- Flexibility to practice at multiple Charleston-area locations.
- Proven history of prioritizing patient satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of hematology/oncology experience (5+ years preferred).
- Experience as a primary caregiver for cellular therapy patients (BMT & CAR-T).
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
