Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Cardiology

Leesburg, Florida

Village Heart & Vein, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team in Leesburg.

This is a full-time outpatient cardiology position offering a Monday-Friday schedule in a collaborative, physician-led practice environment. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs while caring for a diverse cardiovascular patient population in the clinic setting.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in the outpatient setting
  • Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
  • Review diagnostic testing, including EKGs, imaging, and laboratory studies
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Manage medications and provide patient education
  • Coordinate specialty referrals and ongoing cardiovascular care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Florida license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Prior cardiology experience is preferred but not required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
