Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.
We are currently seeking a part-time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) with experience in managing addiction disorders andproviding primary careat the Jessup Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland.
This position will occasionally travel to the Western Region Facilities in Hagerstown and Cumberland.
This position is a full-time position working with the SUD program to prevent, intervene, treat and manage addictive disorders. The days are Monday - Friday Day Shift
The Nurse Practitioner works under the supervision of a physician in a correctional environment and is responsible for assisting in the delivery of health care and patient care management. This includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and medication management.

Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license
- Ability to pass background check
- 2+ years experience working as an NP
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- One to two years' experience in a progressive supervisory or management position in an outpatient/inpatient substance abuse program
- Two years' experience providing direct care in a community or correctional substance abuse program
