How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Provide advanced direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CNS program.
  • Active APRN / CNS Licensure and Board Certification (AGCNS-BC or equivalent). Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical expertise in neuro-critical care or interventional neurovascular nursing
  • Serve as an expert consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. Contributes to defining, directing and evaluating the nursing care and functions of clinical staff.
  • Manage clinical research projects in support of evidence-based practice and disseminates findings.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required and Master's degree required.
