Schedule & Compensation

  • Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • 40 hours/week | 1.0 FTE

Compensation: $50-$58/hour

Start Date: Monday, July 6th 2026

What You'll Do

  • Educate patients on prevention, self-management, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions based on individual health needs, goals, and lifestyle.
  • Provide proactive, relationship-based care focused on prevention, early intervention, and long-term health outcomes.
  • Coordinate follow-up care, care management outreach, and continuity of care services to support patient progress and health goals.
  • Counsel patients on medications, supplements, lifestyle interventions, and potential side effects or interactions.
  • Order, perform, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including labs, imaging, and point-of-care testing.
  • Assess patient history, symptoms, diagnostic results, and social determinants of health to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, infections, episodic concerns, and common chronic conditions.
  • Provide primary care services including wellness exams, annual visits, physicals, preventative screenings, and chronic disease management.
  • Collaborate with specialists, behavioral health providers, pharmacies, and care teams to support management of complex or high-risk conditions.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans aligned with best practices and patient goals.
  • Incorporate lifestyle medicine strategies including nutrition, movement, sleep, hydration, breathing, and mindfulness into patient care.
  • Support student wellness initiatives, health education efforts, and preventative care programs.
  • Recommend and coordinate diagnostic, therapeutic, pharmaceutical, behavioral, and specialty interventions with consideration for safety, accessibility, cost, and effectiveness.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical appropriateness, safety standards, and prescribing authority.
  • Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with specialists, imaging providers, therapy services, pharmacies, and ancillary vendors.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical, operational, and campus teams to improve health outcomes and support whole-person care.

The (Required) Qualifications

To practice safely and compliantly, we do need:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license
  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification
  • Active Michigan NP Specialty Certification
  • BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
