Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The primary responsibilities include delivering urgent and emergent care across various settings, including medical facilities and home visits, with a focus on high-acuity cases within an emergency medicine scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical evaluations, differential diagnoses, and treatment plans for high-acuity cases.
- Deliver patient care across multiple settings, including medical facilities and at-home visits.
- Manage complex conditions such as acute abdominal pain, atrial fibrillation, and congestive heart failure.
- Perform advanced clinical procedures such as peripheral IV access, suturing, and EKG interpretation.
- Maintain accurate clinical charting and structured care plans.
- Collaborate with care coordination and medical partners for comprehensive patient handoffs.
- Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication and premium customer service.
Qualifications
- Active state license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with authority to practice in Florida.
- Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited program.
- Active DEA license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and digital workplace coordination tools.
- Hands-on competency in phlebotomy, IV placement, wound closure, and medication administration.
- Preferred: 2 to 3 years of clinical practice in emergency or high-acuity urgent care settings.
- Preferred: Experience in house call programs, EMS/pre-hospital environments, or concierge clinical models.
Additional Requirements
- Night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
- 32 hours per week, full time.
- Schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays.
