What You'll Do
- Provide primary and urgent care services to employees and their eligible dependents
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health screenings
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Perform basic in-office procedures, including suturing and incision and drainage (I&D)
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and workers' compensation cases
- Conduct DOT physicals (certification can be obtained after hire and is reimbursable)
- Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Provide leadership and support to clinic staff while fostering a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Mississippi
- Family Practice experience required
- Primary Care and/or Urgent Care experience strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Current BLS certification
- DOT Medical Examiner certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
