This Physician Assistant is a new role supporting our MedicalDirector-Cardio-Thoracic Surgery in NW OH. Basically the PA's will be responsible for rounding oninpatients in our CVOR unit which is 100% adults. In addition, they willassist the surgeons in the OR. We are seeking experienced PA's
(3-5 yrs. with surgery experience). Our plan is to hire two (2) so the
call is not so burdensome. We will not be using them extensively after
hours until we have the numbers to manage this type of coverage.
