PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT - Military Base Contract - Dover, Delaware

 

 

Locum Contract Assignment from 1 February 2012 through 31 January 2013.

Schedule - Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p

 

Must be Board Certified

At least 2 years experience as a internal medicine/family practice or urgent care PA

Possess a clear and active license from any state

Possess a current BLS Certificate

Previous Military Medicine Experience desired but not required

Veteran Status will provide Candidate Advantage

 

Scope of work:

The Physician Assistant shall perform and provide medical examination and treatment as required by the MTF, Chief, Department of Primary Care and Community Medicine (DPCCM), or Counterpart, at each locat ion. The Physician Assistant shall perform the services, which a military Physician Assistant with similar training and experience would be called upon to perform while in a similar duty assignment. The Physician Assistant shall be responsible for a regularly appointed clinic, compatible with workload and, in addition, provide immediate evaluation and management of emergent problems as they occur.
