We are working with one of the top Level II tauma centers in the region looking for quality nurse practitioners and physician assistants to staff their department. The ER has about 38,000 visits per year. This position would offer a very competitive salary and the opportunity to work three 12 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts with occasional rotating weekend shifts. This is not with a hospitalist company but rather it is a hospital employed position. Our hospital has been the leader in working with nurse practitioners and physician assistants in the region so we really know how to bring them a quality experience.
This position offers a set/stable shift - You will know what your schedule will be months in advance and you will not have to worry about a constantly changing schedule.

The Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants should be certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS or be willing to obtain such certifications prior to beginning work.
At least 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in an ER or urgent care setting.
Newer grads with strong ER nursing experience will be considered as well.
