Special Requirements: BSN, MSN preferred. Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required. Minimum of 3 years of professional nursing in a clinic setting, plus 2 years of NP experience. Current license required.
Job Description: You will be responsible for providing hematology and oncology care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices. Performs physician exam, obtains medical history, and records findings. Orders appropriate lab and diagnostic procedures. Determines preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan. Administers medications and injections in compliance with state law and clinic guidelines. Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needds of patients. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
