The Nurse Practitioner must work collaboratively with other clinicians delivering comprehensive care and must possess the ability to assess clinical problems, determine priorities of care, design and implement a treatment plan and seek and utilize consultation appropriately.
The NP must have graduated from a master''s level state and NLN approved NP program and possess state licensure to practice in the expanded role. Two to four years of ambulatory and/or urgent care experience is preferred. Simple procedure skill sets are required - or must be open to training. |
