Excellent compensation for NP with Cardiovascuar Surgery experience $100K +++
The Cardiovascular NP works under the supervision of physician (s) to delier comprehensive health care to cardiac patients. Will assist with preoperative preparation, provide operative assistance, and postoperative clinical management services, within the scope of their practice on cardiac surgery patients along with other team members. Will provide episodic care in emergency and outpatient setting as necessaryand will provide education to staff and patients as needs are identified and assumes other duties as assigned.
The NP shall practice according to all protocols which have been mutually agreed upon by the NP and the supervising physician. Each protocol shall contain a detailed description of backup coverage if the supervising physician is away from the primary office.
Looking for someone who is honest, forthcoming and cooperative in departmental matters involving self and others and must pomote the hospitals "world class healthcare and wellness program".
Must have a Master's Degree in Nursing and be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Mississippi.
Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner required. Obtain and maintain current BCLS, ACLS required.
Would pefer one to five years experience as a Cardiovascular NP.
Physicial demands: Stands bends, turns, stoops, lifts, climbs and uses many physical motions in performing day to day activities. Looking for great communication skills, ability to stand for several hours at a time and do a great deal of walking and have high energy and capable of handling high pressure situations.
Will be working in a high paced environment and must have the ability to keep up with the physicians, and maintain an ever changing range of activities, dealing with patient conditions, and their families, your co-workers, peers and other health care workers.
This is days only, again 8 hour shift.
Must have a valid drivers license as job MAY require traveling from hospital to clinics in area, so must have their own transportation.
