Location: Reno, NV
Acute Care Trained Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Responsible for:
- Working 12 hour shifts. 7 days on, 7 days off
- 1st line of communication with the nursing staff
- Assisting on call Physicians in the Emergency Department
- Assessing the health status of patients by taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and initiating diagnostic procedures
- Will also manage the care of patients, including education of the patient and their family
Candidate must be a certified and licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Acute Care training. DEA and NV State Board of Pharmacy license is required. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience, specialty of adult or geriatric is highly desired. |
