The Health Quest Medical Practice Division of Surgical Physician Assistants is seeking a board-certified full-time surgical physician assistant to join its group. Covering three hopsitals located in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York, we are a multi-specialty surgical assistant and patient management consultation service. Comprised of 18 surgical PAs, the group provides coverage at all three hospitals in the Health Quest System, Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, and Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, NY.
The qualified candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and be NCCPA certified/eligible as well as possess strong surgical and patient management experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, multi-specialty surgical assisting, pre/post op care, and minor surgical and bedside procedures. Candidates with one to three years of surgical experience will be given first preference, but new graduates will be considered as will nurse practitioners with RNFA certification and surgical experience.We offer a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and generous allowances for CME and professional dues/expenses.
